BOUNDARY HILL LODGE

Perched on the edge of Tarangire National Park, among trees and rock outcrops, the lodge is nestled into the cliffs and huge granite slabs. The Lodge offers outstanding views over the Silale and Gosuwa swamps, where elephant and buffalo graze among the acacia and baobab trees beneath the vastness of Africa’s sky.

Accommodation
Eight spacious rooms with private sitting areas, spacious balconies and spectacular views. All have en-suite facilities with separate showers and five are double suites with cast-iron baths. Boundary Hill Lodge will provide a unique African experience.

KIKOTI CAMP

The Camp is located on a ridge overlooking Tarangire National Park, seasonal home to one of the densest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, Kikoti is a haven fit for the most discerning traveller.

The tented camp has 10 luxury rooms that are well designed, comfortable and spread out amongst the stunning landscape. Built under the cooling shade of a grass roof, and enjoying a private veranda looking out over the Great Rift Valley, these en suite tents offer the greatest comfort in the greatest proximity to nature.

MARAMBOI TENTED CAMP

Maramboi Tented Camp offers permanent camp facilities and endless vistas of rolling golden grasslands and palm lined desert between Tarangire and Manyara Lake. The camp offers stunning views of the Manyara National Park, Rift Valley, Ngorongoro highlands and on clear days even Oldonyo Lengai a sacred mountain to the Maasai.

OLIVER’S CAMP

Oliver’s Camp is situated in the remote south-eastern part of the park, in the middle of Tarangire’s un-spoilt wilderness. The camp is ideally placed to access the yearly migrations of wildlife, and to view impressive concentrations at waterholes and in the spectacular Silale swamps.

Accommodation

The camp features 8 beautifully furnished guest tents. Solid wooden furniture, beautiful cloth and gorgeous warm showers that can be taken under the Tarangire sky. Bathrooms are en-suite at the back of the tents, with long-drop lavatories and hot water in bucket showers. Lighting throughout the tents is solar powered.

Facilities

The dining area and sitting area are tented with comfortable chairs and plenty of room to sit without feeling on top of the other guests. Every evening, guests relax or read in the lounge and library tent, or drink sundowners at the fireplace, from which superb views of landscape and sunset can be enjoyed.

Walking is the absolute specialty of Oliver’s Camp. The privilege of walking in these prime natural areas gives you exhilarating feeling of adventure.

TAMARIND CAMP

Perfectly positioned in a grove of beautiful Acacia Troilus trees, Tamarind Camp is located on a privately owned concession about 15 minutes from the entrance to Tarangire National Park. Not being actually in the park is an added advantage meaning that many additional activities can be undertaken from the camp as well as game drives in Tarangire.

Accommodation
Tamarind’s 10 luxury tented accommodation are comfortable and spacious with en-suite bathrooms and exquisite hand-crafted hardwood furnishings. The tents are extremely well spread out and mostly face the adjacent Park boundary.

Facilities
Dining is elegant ad candle-lit, either in the romantic dining tent or around the campfire.

NOMAD TARANGIRE SAFARI CAMP

Nomad Tarangire is a mobile tented camp, but it won’t actually move during your stay as it’s already been prepositioned before your arrival. It settles in the remotest southern parts of the park, from which both the game rich Tarangire River and the wilderness walking areas of the park are equally accessible.

Accommodation
Nomad Tarangire is a 8 bed camp. The unique design of these tents offers comfort, space, light and are designed to take full advantage of the passing breeze. The inner bed tent area has large comfortable beds, optional roll down canvas sides and shade netting. The outer ‘living’ area is also netted with roll down sides. A screened dressing area with en-suite bathroom is at the back, with flush toilets and traditional bucket showers with hot and cold water available on demand.

Facilities
The mess and dining tent is welcoming and funky, and definitely somewhere to spend a relaxed afternoon, either inside in the library/lounge area, or in the shade of a tree lying in a hammock soaking up the Tarangire vibe.

TARANGIRE TREETOPS

Astride the path of the elephant migration, Tarangire Treetops sits alone in a private conservation area bordering Tarangire National Park which covers an area of 260 sq kms and the Masai Steppe amid rolling baobab studded hills with views to Lake Manyara and the Rift Valley wall.

20 luxury tents, built atop tree-attached platforms, overlooking the Tarangire Sand River. Each en-suite unit has a private veranda and lounge area, with sweeping views over the private Conservation area. Distinctively furnished blending natural materials and modern décor, the tree houses provide guests with a unique safari experience.

SWALA CAMP

Swala Camp is located within Tarangire National Park border, about 67 km into the park. This section of the park is exceptionally private with no other camps around. The camp itself is located under a canopy of Acacia tortillas, creating a beautiful setting.

Accommodation
Accommodation is offered in nine double tents, each attended by a personal butler and all placed to offer maximum
privacy and tranquility. Each tent has en-suite facilities and hot running water. Private balconies with comfortable furnishings extend in front of each unit. The camp uses inverted electrical energy.

Facilities
The dining area, lounge and library are housed in the main public area, which affords spectacular views from its wooden deck.

TARANGIRE SOPA LODGE

Hidden among the kopjes, lies Tarangire Sopa Lodge, surrounded by ancient baobab trees, the lodge lies 118 km south west of Arusha, approximately 2 hours drive from Arusha town.

Accommodation
75 spacious rooms, all with a private lounge on entering with a mini bar. Each room is carpeted, has 2 queen size beds with a mosquito net around them. Ceiling fans keep the rooms cool and glass sliding doors that open out on to a balcony. 4 of these rooms are suitable for the physically challenged.

TARANGIRE SAFARI LODGE

Built on top of a high bluff with a breathtaking panorama, lodge is situated 120 km from Arusha town. Carving out the landscape below the lodge is Tarangire River, a favourite watering place, which attracts impressive numbers and variety of game.

Accommodation
The luxury twin tents combine the authentic safari atmosphere of ‘nights under canvas’, with more modern comforts of electric light and en suite bathrooms with hot water.
