A Touch of the Wild Tanzania Safari  - combining the best lodges and camps with excellent game viewing and four-wheel drive vehicles visiting Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro.

Activities include:   Safari activities include morning and afternoon game viewing drives by open Land Rover or Land Cruiser, incredible Bird-Watching, Sightseeing and Wildlife Viewing.

Safari Program :

Day 1 - Arusha to Tarangire.

After breakfast, proceed to Tarangire National Park. Spend two nights at Tarangire Kigongoni Camp. Your tents would be set up by the safari cook. An African Camping safari would be experience an area where the only traffic is from almost 3000 elephants!

Day 2 - Tarangire.

A full and action day filled with full day game drive, Overnight Kigongoni Campsite.

Day 3 - Tarangire/Manyara.

Game drive en route to Manyara climbing the steep escarpment to the permanent tented camp of Kirurumu. After lunch enjoy an afternoon game drive around the lake shores in search of resident game (approx. 60 miles).

Day 4 - Manyara/Serengeti.

Descend to the plains of the Serengeti to Seronera Campsite in the heart of the Serengeti. There is no better way to explore the Serengeti and view its rich wildlife than from tented camp. Enjoy an afternoon game drive and overnight (approx. 190 miles).

Day 5 to Day 6 Serengeti.

Two full and very rewarding days with morning and afternoon game drives in and around the Serengeti National Park.

Day 7 - Serengeti to Ngorongoro.

Game drive en route to Olduvai and the cradle of Mankind with picnic lunch before continuing to Ngorongoro Crater. Due to the altitude and drop in temperature at the crater accommodation will be at the Sopa Lodge. Perched on the crater edge the lodge offers unequalled views and sunsets over the crater (approx. 165 miles).

Day 8 - Ngorongoro.

Enjoy a full day in the crater with picnic lunches rewarding game drives. Overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

Day 9 - Ngorongoro to Arusha.

Morning departure for Arusha.

Alternatively you may extend your holiday on to Zanzibar.

Me and my girlfriend had a wonderful 9 day safari seeing everything would had imagined, and much more. The driver was very experienced and good at
spotting wildlife. We saw more than most other people we met at the camps. Our trip was a mixed lodge and camp safari. We actually got better food at
the camp where our cook made fresh food for us. At the lodges it was buffets.
