Day 1. Nairobi-Arusha-Lake Manyara Lodge. Depart for Arusha with the morning shuttle from Nairobi via Namanga border. You will arrive for lunch in Arusha. Depart for Lake Manyara to arrive for an afternoon game drive. Look out for tree climbing lions, which Manyara is famous for. Thousands of flamingos can be seen on the lakeshore. Large herds of elephants are also seen. Dinner and overnight at lodge. Day 2. Lake Manyara-Ngorongoro crater. After early breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro crater with en-route game drive arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon descend 2000ft (670m) into the crater floor in a four-wheel drive land rover with open hatch roof. Full day Crater tour at Ngoitoktok Springs picnic site. The main crater is 165km and contains constant animal population of varied species including buffaloes, rhinos, lions and elephants. Other grazing animals have made this crater a permanent home . part for Ngorongoro Crater to arrive for dinner and overnight at lodge. Day 3. Ngorongoro Crater-Tarangire National Park . After breakfast drive to Tarangire with en-route game drive. Afternoon game drive in search of elephants, lions, zebra, giraffes, antelopes, gazelles, warthogs, jackals, leopard and over 250 species of birds. Meals and overnight at lodge. Day 4. Tarangire National Park-Arusha; After breakfast enjoy a morning game viewing drive in the Tarangire National Park . Return to Arusha. | ||

Me and my girlfriend had a wonderful 9 day safari seeing everything would had imagined, and much more. The driver was very experienced and good at spotting wildlife. We saw more than most other people we met at the camps. Our trip was a mixed lodge and camp safari. We actually got better food at the camp where our cook made fresh food for us. At the lodges it was buffets.
