From Nairobi at 0800hrs From Arusha at 1400hrs Departs Everyday Day 1 Nairobi/Arusha - Tarangire Drive to Arusha for lunch. Continue across the Masai Steppe to Tarangire National Park. The park covers just over 2,600sq kms. Game view enroute to your lodge. Over night stay at the Tarangire Sopa Lodge. Day 2 Tarangire - Ngorongoro Crater Enjoy an early morning game drive before breakfast. After breakfast drive across the wheat plains of Karatu with lunch at Gibbs Farm where a delightful farmhouse lunch awaits. Arrive at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge in the early evening. Overnight stay at the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. Day 3 Ngorongoro Crater Declared a world heritage site in 1978, Ngorongoro is believed to date back over 2 million years ago and was once a volcano as large as Mt. Kilimanjaro. A full day in the magnificent crater. Over night stay at the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. Day 4 Ngorongoro - Arusha - Nairobi Depart after breakfast and drive across Masai Steppe to arusha for lunch. Drive to Nairobi arriving late afternoon.

Me and my girlfriend had a wonderful 9 day safari seeing everything would had imagined, and much more. The driver was very experienced and good at spotting wildlife. We saw more than most other people we met at the camps. Our trip was a mixed lodge and camp safari. We actually got better food at the camp where our cook made fresh food for us. At the lodges it was buffets.
