Zanzibar Extension

Day 1: Pongwe Beach.
Upon arrival in Zanzibar you will be met at the airport and transferred to Pongwe Beach Hotel (or similar) for your overnight stay.

Pongwe Beach is a tranquil location; the ideal place to relax and enjoy Zanzibar’s distinctive, mellow pace. You can dive into the crystal clear waters of the Indian ocean, or stretch out and soak up the sun on the beach. It is the ideal retreat for those looking for that extra special holiday.Dinner is included at the resort.

Days 2-3: Pongwe Beach.
At your own leisure at Pongwe Beach Hotel (or similar).
Pongwe Beach offers the perfect paradise island experience. The bay's azure blue waters — protected by the reef one kilometre from the shore — are ideal for swimming and snorkeling. If the midday sun becomes too strong you can retreat into the shade of the palm trees that line the white sandy beach, and sip a long, cool drink.
There are traditional wooden long boats to give you access to deeper waters before and beyond the reef. This provides the ideal opportunity to go game fishing for tuna, marlin, barracuda and king fish. There is also snorkeling available out at Mnemba Atoll where you can find many coral species and marine life; and at Kizimkazi where dolphins and turtles can be found. Scuba diving can also be arranged whether it be a day dive or a Padi open water course. Breakfast and Dinner included

Day 4: Stone Town.
This morning after breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel and transfered to your hotel in Stone Town, followed by a guided tour of Stone Town. The richness of its cultural heritage and the lure of the exotic spices make Zanzibar one of the most sort after holiday destinations. The main attraction of Zanzibar is Stone Town with it's winding alleys; white washed old buildings, bustling bazaars, mosques, exotic architecture and influences of different cultures.

For those who like to shop, the historical Stone Town is packed with spices, sarongs and African artefacts. For food lovers, the mix of African, Indian and Arabic cuisines, exotic spices and fresh seafood makes the island a gastonomic delight. Overnight at Dhow Palace Hotel (or similar) in Stown Town. Day 5: Zanzabar
Your Zanzibar adventure finishes today when you will be transfered to the airport, for your onward flight. Breakfast included
